Modern cartridge filters are made of microfibers that provide better performance through millions of passages. Extra greases, oils, and scales form the basis of bacteria's food. The filter then dirties the water. Additionally, filters with impurities increase the electricity consumption of the filtration pump and shorten its lifespan.

That's why it's important to regularly and thoroughly clean the filters: SpaBalancer Filter Clean dissolves organic impurities, greases, and oils found on the filter's surface.

Filter cleaner user guide:

When first using SpaBalancer, clean the filters weekly by alternating with a second set of filters, then space out to every two to three weeks for optimal performance.
First, prepare a container with a concentration of 100 ml to 200 ml of SpaBalancer per 10 to 20 liters of water, then immerse the filters in the container. Note that for a more effective and faster action, you can increase the product concentration.
In a second step, soak the filters for at least 12 hours in the SpaBalancer solution. Then remove the filters and rinse them thoroughly with a water jet.
It is recommended to use cleaning nozzles found in the Filter Maintenance section for this purpose.
Replace your filters every two years. The filter coating loses its filtering action over time. Even filters that still look good may then have poor filtration performance.
