The ClearRay system has been present in most Jacuzzi / Sundance brand spas since 2012. It is an innovative purification system that uses UV as a powerful disinfection agent. UV degrades stubborn bacteria, which are then completely eliminated by standard treatment (chlorine, bromine, active oxygen, etc.)

The distributed part also includes the ballast with the connection plug to be directly connected to your ClearRay system. It is recommended to replace your UV lamp every 1 or 2 years depending on your spa's usage.
Replacing the UV lamp:
Turn off your spa. You do not need to drain your spa for a simple bulb replacement. However, if you need to replace the quartz housing or the entire system, it is imperative to fully drain your spa and plumbing.
Remove the 4 screws from the ClearRay system's protective cover
Remove the cover and the seal from the housing to access the bulb housing and its connectors
Disconnect the bulb's connection plug
Gently remove the bulb from the quartz housing (3)
Replace the bulb with your replacement bulb 6472-857 by gently inserting it into the housing
(Use protective gloves to avoid direct contact between the bulb and your skin)
Simply reconnect the connection plug to the ClearRay system
