This replacement kit is designed for the Leisure Concepts CoverMate III cover lifter. It allows you to replace the side mounting brackets and gas struts on your existing system.
Before ordering, make sure your cover lifter is a CoverMate III. Also, compare the shape and dimensions of your existing brackets with the product photos and measurements listed in the table above.
The included brackets have part numbers 100503 (left) and 100504 (right).
The left and right brackets mount to the sides of the hot tub, directly below the edge of the spa shell. The pivot point of each bracket should be positioned approximately 4 inches (10.2 cm) from the back of the hot tub.
Both gas struts attach to the designated ball studs, with the black cylinder facing upward.
Important: Before lowering the spa cover, release the locking gas strut by pressing its release tab.
