Spaclean HTH: Spa Pipeline Cleaner

What is Biofilm: "Community of microbes that generally forms a thin viscous layer on a natural or artificial surface."
Spas are conducive to the appearance and development of biofilm.

SPACLEAN:

• Specially designed to eliminate grease deposits, soap residues, sunscreen lotions in pipelines.
• Fights against biofilm development.
• Improves filtration efficiency.

Instructions for use:

• This product should only be used after ensuring that the spa no longer contains any treatment products (pH correctors, chlorine, bromine, etc.) anywhere
(filter, skimmer, chlorine/bromine dispenser, floating dispenser). If not, the pipeline cleaning operation should be postponed until
all treatment products have disappeared from the spa. Once these conditions are met:
• Remove the filter cartridge.
• Ensure that the water is at its normal level (at least 50 mm above the water inlets).
• Start pumps and boosters.
• Pour 250 ml of the product into the skimmer or filter.
• Open the circulation valves wide and run the pumps for at least 15 minutes.
• Activate the air blowers for 5 minutes.
• Stop the pumps and let the water rest for 15 minutes.
• Start the pumps and boosters again for 15 minutes (foam may form).
• Stop the pumps.
• Drain the spa.
• Clean the water inlets and walls using a garden hose (for stubborn deposits, use a spa cleaner).
• Refill the spa and return to normal operating conditions.
• Reinstall the filter cartridge after cleaning it with a filter cleaner.
• Disinfect the spa water (chlorine, bromine, or oxygen) before reusing it.
• For a swim spa, it may be necessary to use up to 1 liter of the product.
• This product cleans the residues accumulated in the spa pipelines/equipment that are a source of bacteria. The treatment should be done before each
drainage and at least every 12 weeks.
