Guillotine shut-off valves are used to isolate a section of piping.
They require less force to open/close the circuit compared to ball valves.

This allows for maintenance on a component (pump, heater, etc.) without having to drain your spa.
They also enable the closing/opening of a circuit to modify water flow (very useful for creating a drainage circuit, for example).

Turn the handle to remove the safety to pull on the handle to open the guillotine valve.
Valve comes with its safety clip

To be glued to the pipe with special PVC glue
